Today, my boyfriend forgot to pick our son up from daycare. His excuse? Fighting in a battle in World of Warcraft was far more important and he had to stay absolutely focused. Our son had to wait for two hours. FML

He needs to grow up and get his act together. he's a father!

My mom (who I no longer see thank god) forgot my sister and me at elementary school for 3 hours one day and it was one of scariest times of my life. Luckily my dad saw us waiting outside while driving by (my parents are divorced) and picked us up and took us to his house.. Thankfully he was at daycare and not just waiting outside. Sorry to hear about this! So sad. Kids are always #1 priority!

That's ridiculous, I'm sorry the father of your child chooses to spend his time with something apparently more important than his own child

I never really understood why people like WoW, but that's probably just because I'm not an MMO person. I hate games where you have to grind in order to continue the game and you grind for hours but still you're somehow NOT good enough to beat the final boss and then when you do, you get like 10 seconds of story before having to grind for the next boss. It's stupid, IMO. For me, it's either have a balance between gameplay and story or make it heavy on the story (Like Heavy Rain or The Walking Dead)

World of Warcraft > Daycare Battles are more important then babies

me and my husband play wow we have 2 kids our house is always clean and we plan raids at night while they are sleeping . they are our number one priority. we play during the day but if they need something we are on it and fun family day outings. this is why gamers have a bad rep shame

my dad used to do this.. one time when he was supposed to be looking after me, and playing WOW instead, i walked out onto the road and almost got hit by a car. fatherly love?

WoW raids are the real deal tho :3

I'd bet that around the time that a child needs to be picked up from daycare, there isn't any raids going on, atleast not guild-based ones. So if he really WAS raiding, it has to have been LFR and seriously LFR doesn't take much dedication. I'd be more betting on PvP/Arena/RBG.
