Today, my boyfriend taught my son to do his chores. Not real chores, but "Runescape chores" on my boyfriend's account. My son won't pick up his toys or put his shoes away, but he'll jump on the computer to grow plants or cut trees or some other stupid shit. FML

Why is that an FML? It's great that your son and your bf share a connection. Your bf found something your son likes and use it to better the relationship. You as a mom can try to make him do chores or whatever, he as a potential step dad should work exactly on what he is doing. I think you should be happy and proud of your bf

They're getting rewarded for doing Runescape chores by the game. That's part of how video games get people interested--they get a fun little noise and coins\points for doing things. Try Habitica with them, it does something similar.
