Are you sure he "accidently" pulled the trigger?
my rifle doesnt have a safety lock.. and he was holding it and i went to adjust the gun and i was kneeling and i guess he didnt hear me yellin at him when i was walking up and pulled the trigger while i was on my knee adjusting his form
that's gotta hurt!
you must be a crappy teacher for that to happen...practice some gun safety next time?
You can most definitely teach someone on a loaded gun. They just have to be responsible enough to handle it. My fiancé is a city boy and my friends (who have 30+ guns) and I have been teaching him and we've always used loaded guns. We're smart enough to use the safety though. And not all rifles bigger than a .22 kick. We were shooting a pretty hefty deer rifle one day that had the same kick of a .22. Gaw now I need to go shooting. Thanks guys.
Austin?! Texas?! What sort of pussy are you dating?!
