Today, I woke up with the worst headache of my life. I didn't get it from drinking, but rather from puking 6 times off the side of a fishing boat. Fishing was the one thing my husband wanted to do while on vacation, even though I'm 3 months pregnant and have a bad stomach. FML

Today, during a boat trip with my boyfriend's family, I got seasick and went to the side of the boat to puke. A current rocked the boat so badly that I fell overboard, prompting a panicked rescue and my boyfriend's mom muttering that I'm a pathetic attention whore. FML

Today, I learned that pregnancy makes me more prone to migraines, but the only pain killer I can take makes me vomit. So I have to choose between being in pain and vomiting for hours on end. FML

Today, my boyfriend and I went on a 1 day cruise to the Bahamas. It happened to be on the same day of the worst sailing conditions. We spent 6 hours throwing up together. Him into the sink, and me into the toilet. We spent $200 to see the inside of our cabin's bathroom. FML

Today, I was consoling my drunk husband as he violently emptied his stomach contents into our toilet. One particular retch made me nauseous, and I vomited all down his back, causing him to turn his head and vomit all over the wall. I got to clean it all up. FML

Today, I was having horrible morning sickness. I was violently throwing up, could hardly breathe, and was gasping for air between each round of puking. My husband, in the other room playing video games, snapped and shouted, "Why can't you just be quiet?!" FML

Today, I'm finally visiting my long-distance boyfriend in his home country. He has a vomit-inducing migraine, and the traditional food he fed me triggered the worst kidney attack I've had in years. We're both lying on the couch writhing in pain. Yay, quality time together. FML

Where was the vacation spot? Could you not hang out somewhere else while he went fishing? That's what my mom always did, my dad would go fishing on a boat, and she would hang out on the beach, or do her own type if excursion, like shopping or sight seeing.

Vacation kind of implies it was for both of them, likely to spend time TOGETHER before their baby is born. Also, "whining" as you so "kindly" put it is kind of the point of this site.

Unless the vacation was centered AROUND fishing and that's the type of vacation you guys took then I agree with the people saying you could have found something else to do. I of course wanted to spend every minute with my husband on our honeymoon but he wanted to go fishing and do a couple other activities I didn't want to- I enjoyed the pool and made some new friends. So I'm curious on why you HAD to go with?

Sorry for that but you can at least take comfort in the knowledge that you done something you probably never wanted to do for the sake of your partner. Let's hope that he too is just as considerate towards you.
