Today, I was trying to apply some toothpaste on my pimple to help dry it out. My mum came from behind and hugged me, making me accidentally apply minty toothpaste into my right eye instead. FML

I love brushing my pimple too. It keeps its breath fresh and clean.

At least of some wacko comes up to you and sniffs your eye, it'll smell minty fresh ^_^

soo is your eye whiter?..... u need to apply it on other eye to even out color and sheen.

Look, buddy. I'm not the only one that thinks so here; if it works for you, it may not for everyone else. So, pull the pickle out, please.

sucks to have. living mother huh?!? lol

Be Happyy That You Have a Mother!! What's With People Not Appreciating Their Mommies!? Geeze.

that's why you dab a little onto your finger then pu it on the pimple. that's disgusting you're putting the actual toothpaste tube on your pimple -.^

Or maybe they had the toothpaste on their finger and poked themself in the eye? It doesn't say anything about a tube.

There's a lot of debate about it in the comments here. Several say it does and they've tried it, others say it doesn't and can't because of certain chemicals in it or something that end up making things worse (I've scanned them, but haven't read them in detail) It seems no one knows, or can agree on an answer. This is the second or third time that this toothpaste-acne-cure debate has come onto FML. It's never been agreed on in the past, either.

Sooo here I go with my acne advice(: 1) toothpaste only works if it's the kind that has salacylic acid in it. That's what dries it up, but the acne will most likely come back. 2) The only permanent way to get rid of it is by going to a dermotologist because most acne is genetics :/ exactly what my dermotologist told me! Just some tips(: P.S. Sorry op for your eye :/

Why toothpaste? Try using a zit cream with about 10% Benzoyl Peroxide. Or Windex.
