Today, I was sitting waiting for my train for a long while. When it finally came, I had pins and needles in my foot. When I got up, I fell and unsuccessfully stumbled towards the train. The doors closed and it left without me. FML

I can't see how you would not make it to the train, even if you trip and fall. The seats are generally 3-5 steps away from the train. Most people would also get up before the train even stops, but even if you waited til it stopped completely, it still doesn't make sense.

I was running towards the bus station once, I was late because people needed me to finish stuff up last minute at work, after I'd already taken care of my own stuff and was heading out, and I was running in my skirt and heels.. I was 10 feet away, the bus driver looked at me, shook his head, closed the door and pulled off. ~_~
