Today, I was discussing my family heritage with my girlfriend's parents. The moment I told them that I came from a German background, her seven-year-old brother pointed at me and yelled, "HITLER!" FML

Where the kid learned about Hitler and Nazism, I don't know. First heard of Hitler in 6th grade. : Plus, he's technically Austrian, not German.

I hate when people automatically assume that just because people are from germany, it makes them Hitler, Nazis, whatever. half of those Nazis did not want to hurt people, they were forced too
