Today, I walked ten miles to pick up my car from the towing station. Turns out there was enough change for the parking meter in the glovebox after all. FML

No, the towing guys planted that change in your car just to **** with your mind. You are just gullible enough to fall for it.

Maybe you should have checked your car better before you parked without paying the parking meter.

That's what happens when you refuse change on the corner..

paying a parking meter is cheaper than paying for an impounded car

damn dont be so lazy give it a little more effort and look under some seats or something or on the floor maybe. damn way not to try. you had that one coming im glad you had to walk before i risk walking im gonna look around for a second

Maybe you can walk to coin star next and cash it all in for impounding fees.

On the up side, you're not in Christchurch, and therefore it wasn't parked in the Central City there (pretty much the only place with parking meters), and thusly, it was not crushed by a falling building.

SO made up, that one. there is no place 10 miles(we use km's in auckland) away from a towing station, and if u did get towed away from a far off place then there's no place where u have to pay and display.... lame!!
