Today, I used a public bathroom. I hung my purse up on the hook on the door. Two minutes later, a hand reaches over the door and steals my purse. I got robbed while taking a crap. FML

I hate public bathrooms, I hold all of my things and I never sit down unless I put toilet paper down on the seat. They are disgusting and they smell. That really sucks that you got robbed. FYL

I don't see how this is possible unless the hook was very low on the door, or the thief had insanely long arms.

Reached OVER the door. Probably from the outside, standing up, not reaching out of the next stall and over the door while sitting on the toilet. Not reached UNDER the door to get the purse hanging on the hook at the top of the door.

I went to use a restroom at a movie theater this past weekend and I noticed the hook on the back of the door was right in the middle of it, preventing anyone from easily reaching over (or under for that matter) and grabbing my purse. I was put in mind of a similar story to this when I noticed it. This may actually be the story I originally read.
