Take my hand, and I'll lead you to the dry cleaners. Take my love, for stains are everlasting. And remember, the truth that once was spoken, to pay another person, is to see the face of debt!
I'll probably get hate for this, but I really don't think this guy deserved it. I sing along to songs that I know in the movies. I *am* a singer, so it doesn't really sound bad though. Guy still shouldn't have dumped his soda on OP's head, a simple "please stop" would have sufficed (for most people).
I agree with you 100%. It doesn't matter what the theater singer sounds like, it matters that the rest of the audience paid to hear the actors sing. If someone wants people to hear them sing, they should get their own stage and perform.
I'm sorry someone threw soda at you, but you should be more considerate of other people. For most people, this is the first time they are seeing those songs performed, they don't want the experience ruined by someone singing in the theatre. How would you like it if you went to see a stand up act and someone spoke all the jokes along with it? You'd be annoyed.
I paid over £100 for a ticket to the last showing of Cats. The woman behind me had seen it several times clearly as she narrated the entire story before it all happened. Despite being told to shut up several times by me and others she still sang and talked. She ruined it for me and my friend. Had I had a drink I'm pretty sure she would have worn it too. Don't be so damn inconsiderate next time.
1,000 times this.
Hate when people sing with stuff. Especially if its the first time in seeing it. I'd like to enjoy the movie so yea you had it coming.
Why would you sing along in the movies! That's so frickin annoying! You deserved it
If you ever go to the movies or a play again...just remember to SHUT THE HELL UP! It is NOT a sing a long...it is entertainment for EVERYONE to enjoy & when jerks like you have to open their mouth, talk on a cell phone, talk during the event period...we all want to dump soda on you...maybe you'd be better of just staying @ home with a rental so the rest of us can enjoy what we paid $9.50+ to watch without interruption.
You only pay $9.50? That's about £5 here in the uk if you are talking us dollars. We pay generally around £12-£15 so that's $24-$30! Damn I'm moving out there!
£12 - £15? Holy Sh*t #239! O.o Here in Italy is 8€ (£6,50/$10,60), and I've always thought it was expensive...
If you wanted to sing along, why not see it at a drive in movie theater? You're in your own car, and you can sing if you want as long as you have the windows rolled up. No one will hear you. Why on earth would you go to the movie theater, surrounded by people, and sing out loud? As others have said, this is not a singalong, it is a film. People pay a fortune to see the actors perform, not you. It's not a concert, and even then you only sing when the band announces they want everyone to sing.
