Today, I had to clean up the urine puddle left by one of the regulars who plays the poker slot machines at the bar where I work. Rather than reserve the machine to go to the bathroom, she literally sits in her own piss to mark her territory. This happens about every second day. FML

Would love to ban her, but she puts into a machine in an hour what I earn behind the bar in 8, so they won't ban her anytime soon. And they don't have to pay the machine wages or anything; it's a little depressing to know the welfare and common hygiene of my workplace is second to gambling revenue. -OP

The owners should consider banning her, that's extremely unsanitary not to mention disgusting. People these days, I swear. Alcohol is not an excuse to urinate on yourself or anything else without consequences.

You guys, should consider prividing her a portable potty where she can sit, pee and play. I mean, if she is a regular, the least you can do is have some attentions with her... :-/

Yeah, they should totally encourage and accommodate that sort of behaviour in a grown adult.

Disgusting! That's a health concern. For the general public and for her mental health. Sitting in pee to play Poker? Addictions are tricky. They make you behave irrationally. Intervention is needed here. Normal people do not behave this way.

It's probably perfectly legal for you to suspend her from the bar for a time since she is making an unsafe environment for your guests. Just a thought. Also try explaining to her when she comes in that she is more than welcome to signal to you to come hold the machine for 2 minutes so she can run to the restroom instead of contaminating the area with her hazardous waste.

Where I live urinating in public is against the law. Aside from pissing yourself in public she may be ticketed/arrested for doing so. As others mentioned it is also a health issue being as your bar serves drinks and I will assume food of some sort. Make an anonymous phone call to your place of employment complaining about her and let management deal with the issue. If all else fails, call the cops. wallah, no more pee pee.

Yeah, "common sense" and "the law" exist selectively in my workplace -OP
