Today, I was really depressed so I talked on the phone with my best friend. She was telling me how a guy she really liked complimented her. I told her it was be nice to get at least one compliment. After a long silence she says, "You're really good with computers." FML

Today, I was on the phone to a guy I really like from work. We'd been talking for about 2 minutes, when he said he was getting another call, and put me on hold. I was so excited to be on the phone with him, it took me a whole 15 minutes to realise he had actually just hung up on me. FML

Today, I had a hour long conversation with someone I apparently was friends with a few years ago. I couldn't remember who he was for the life of me, so I just played along. Finally, I told him I didn't remember him. He had the wrong number. I had a long conversation with a wrong number. FML

Today, I had a rare phone call from my ex-girlfriend. We ended up talking for hours about old times. It was the best conversation we have had in forever, it made me miss her and miss us. Later on in the day, she called back asking what we talked about. She was too high too remember. FML

Today, while at work, I had to spend an hour and a half on the phone, listening to an old lady relive her entire day in excruciating detail. We're not allowed to hang up on customers, and she was extremely quick to dismiss all my attempts to steer the call back on topic. FML

heh I've had it happen too. You start BSing while you're doing the necessary 'OK, let me restart the computer' thing. I've thought about asking them out but I knew they wouldn't be allowed to give me there number or taking my number.

It happens. Waiting for the computer to reboot or WiFi to do whatever, or when they run tests on their end....all these things take time and can leave dead air on the phone. The silence can get uncomfortable so people talk.

RihannaLover I have a PC and I love my PC. I had a Mac and I have to agree overpriced piece of SHIT. Why would anyone be upset about not having one? Its all personal opinion as to which you like better.
