Today, I had a job interview with a person named Chris. The entire time I couldn't figure out if Chris was a man or woman. The interview went as good as it could have went. At the end I said, "Thank you very much sir." Wrong gender. FML

Like why do people name their daughters Chris or their sons Leslie? At least make the first name gender-specific! Like my MIDDLE name is McKenzie and I'm a guy. My first name is masculine though. Oh, and it helps if you look masculine or feminine; not in between. FYL

"xXTwilight4LifeX", your masculinity amazes me.

Don't knock Twilight! It's the manliest book in the world! Nothing says masculine like Twilight! /end_sarcasm

"luvin_da_katz", your intelligence amazes me.

I dont see anything wrong with his intelligence, and i agree with him with the twilight thing. And Chris is a guys name, however Kris is a girls name, short for Kristen. And no one names their god damn son leslie you moron

Leslie, Ashley, Shanan, McKenzie, and many other names like those used to be male names. Don't bitch about people who keep to tradition.

Did you think maybe he wasn't talking about the book...?

Plus nothing says masculine like xxNamexx

Plus Chris can be a girl's name, short for Christina ? Or is "Chris" magically only appropriate when it refers to Christopher or Christian? Also, look up Leslie Nielsen and think a bit harder when saying that no one names their son or daughter some name or other.

Funny, my grandad is called Leslie and I always thought he was male. My mistake for being a moron.

Tradition? Tradition is an excuse for being conservative.

Check for breasts or look for any make up or look at the shoes

The shoes work. The make up... maybe. The breasts don't always work. Ever heard of a flat girl?

You could have said "Thank you very much". No need for the sir. You definitely deserved it.

Not only is it your fault for not being able to tell the gender.. Which at times can be slightly difficult.. but never completely undecipherable.. Its also your fault for saying sir.. 'Thank you very much' sounds fine to me.

LOL next time just stick to thank you.

should have just kept it "Thank you very much." Some ppl get offended when confused with the other gender even when its a mistake.

"The interview went as well as it could have gone..." not "as good as it could have went." ..Sorry. I know it's kind of an asshole move to correct someone's grammar online. But it was just bugging me.

Asshole grammar Nazis are less annoying than ignorant grammar retards.

I hate it when that happens. I once met someone named Jesse, and couldn't tell. I saw them like a year later. They had changed their hairstyle, clothing style, and shoe style, but I still couldn't tell.
