Today, I got sent home from work for appearing stoned/under the influence of drugs. I suffer from severe hay fever, which no antihistamine has fixed yet, hence the red and glassy eyes. FML

Seriously, tell them it's hayfever, and they can have you tested if they want, if you're innocent? Not difficult. YDI for not standing up for yourself.

You are part of a MAJOR problem with society today, everybody wants to sue everybody else for stupid shit. Grow up and stop looking for fast/easy money.

FYL, Southlander. New Zealand hayfever is a B*TCH.

Clear Eyes, you dumb shit. If it was that important, you should have sprung the $10 (how ever much that is in New Zealand money) to fix the problem.

If you had a job, you dumb shit, you might realise not everyone has time before work to stop into a pharmacy, or that they might have gotten it once they were there, seeing as hayfever isn't usually that bad in the morning.

really? Not that bad in the morning? i used to wake up with my eyes glued shut, thanks to my lovely allergies. :o|

Maybe ClearEyes doesn't work for this person, you dumb shit.

How sad. Hope you feel better soon. Just give them a doctor's note so they feel like assholes. I don't really know much about hayfever but it might have been best to call off from work. Anyway at least now you get to rest

Doctors notes don't mean squat nowadays.

awh. :( fyl, op. as a fellow hayfever victim, I've been in similar situations, though never quite as extreme as getting sent home from work.

In all honesty, after being sent home I would have got high as hell if that happened to me.

... i never heard of HayFever.

It's a fancy name for the allergies a lot of people get in spring/summer. Pretty much feels like having a constant cold.
