I can understand the divorce fees IF he was embarrassed. But the hammock made me laugh. He could have just saved some coin and bought a rope for himself, or a shovel and bag of lime for dear old Mom.

Sounds like he didn't succeed, at least that's something. But I'm still shocked at the number of parents on FML who seem to think stealing from their children is okay, with some more or less clever excuse. Seriously!
