Today, I caught my mom using my toothbrush and washcloth again, despite her having both her own bathroom and supplies. I asked her to please not use mine, to which she called me an ungrateful bitch. My dad agreed. Yet they wonder why I've been desperately saving money to move out. FML

"You're right. Thank you, mom, for the communal toothbrush and towel. Maybe we could earn a profit if we lease them out to other families as well."

You aren't imaging things. Your parents are being hostile, because they can. My parents used to do passive aggressive mean things to me too, until I moved out and never went back.

Well OP, Glad you're moving out, sorry it has to happen because of situations like this. The washcloth would not be so bad, but the toothbrush is over the line. Especially since she has her own.

Tell ya what, acted like you rent a room. Starting keeping it in your room and bring it out when you're in use. Sorry and your parents is gross.

what I can't figure out is how and why, so many people think this could be her fault!
