Today, I am currently grounded for three weeks, have no car, cell phone, or television privileges, and am not allowed to spend more than 10 minutes on the computer a day. The reason why: I was seven minutes past my 9'oclock curfew. I'm 18. FML

Today, despite the fact that I'm 20 years-old, my parents never allow me to go out and have fun with my friends, under the pretext that I'm a girl. I'm stuck at house all year long, I only go out to the college they forced me to study at, and they decide everything about me. I’m tired. FML

Today, I discovered that my new landlords must meet and approve guests of mine before they come over, and guests are not allowed when they aren't home or past 11pm. I'm 25 years old and just moved out of my parents' home to get away from my controlling mother. FML

Today, my mom scolded me and threatened to ground me for coming home past midnight. Normally, it wouldn't be unreasonable, except for the fact that I'm 24 years-old, and that my parents live with me, in my own house. FML

He never said his parents enforced it. My husband is in the Air Force and the base we are currently at has enforced a temporary 11 pm curfew because people are dumb and have been getting into trouble (DUIs and drunken fights). So I am 25 and have an 11:00 pm curfew.

That IS a pain, I cannot imagine someone your age having such a curfew from parents? When I was your age I had a 3 1/2 yr old and a husband...I could only see that making sense if the person was mentally/physically challenged or had already messed up really bad before, like their folks just paid their bail or something, FYL but... still YDI as well for putting up w/it...
