Today, as I was closing up at my sandwich-making job when a huge bus full of basic, snobby, preppy cheerleaders came in. They literally "can't even" decide what they want. FML

Oh geez. Umm hi. OP here c: so I should probably mention that it was about 10-15 minutes until closing time, and that we aren't allowed to close the gates until 5 til. First only like 5 came in, and we're like okay let's do this. We got this. And then another one came in. And another. And another. Not only that, but some of our bosses family came in, so we had to serve them FOR FREE. I didn't get to clock out until 30 minutes after, and I would've had to stay even later if it wasn't for the fact that I'm 16 and that child labor laws exist. And I should also mention that I have nothing against cheerleaders, I've known cheerleaders and dancers that are the most down to earth people in the entire world, but these girls were the type that ask for the meat to be heated separate, for us to pack the vegetables separately, ask for sauce on the side, etc. It was ridiculous. But thank you all for your comments, and anyone else out there working retail: You're a damn trooper, kudos to you c;

Did they have any *odd* orders? Get it? Because they "can't even? "

Tell them they can't even get a sandwich then

I worked for a Pizza Hut a couple of years ago. I was respectful to every person that came in no matter how they treated me. That being said I can honestly say I judged a lot of people that came into the restaurant. It was all in my head but it still happened. On a bad day it annoyed the hell out of me, but I never said it to their face. It says nothing about op treating them poorly but it doesn't change the fact that those people will still be judged. You can't honestly tell me you have never judged a single person in your life

I was a cheerleader for a long time and I was never snobby or entitled. Sorry you had such a bad experience. They're athletes, just hungry and probably exhausted. Contrary to what people think it's an exhausting sport. And it's definitely a sport. I was ripped when I was one. I miss it everyday. But, sorry OP! Hope they weren't too rude. Not all of them are that way, you just met a grumpy bunch lol.

Isn't that your job to make sandwiches? If you're not closed then they have all right to be there.

The customer also has the right to be kind to people who are trying to finish up for the day. Demanding beyond expectation is not ok in all occurrences, especially later in the evening when you know a business is about to close. It's common courtesy.

May they should get a sandwitch..sorry, OP. :/

Aww, that's a shame. Hopefully your next shift will go better (and shorter!)

I change my vote to YDI because I have a lot of GI problems and have to get my veggies on the side so I can have them separately later, because I want to get what I pay for even if I have to eat it differently. You never know why a customer has a request, even if that customer is annoying. Best advice: do well in school so you're not working customer service for the rest of your life.

Give me a G! Now give me a E! Now! Don't give me anything else and just get the heel out!!!! Give me peace in fact!!

You should have said, "I literally can't take your order because you literally CANT order"
