Today, after mowing my neighbor's lawn for 3 years for free without being asked to, he finally came out while I was in the middle of it. Expecting a "Thank you" or some cash, he instead said, "You missed a spot" and walked back inside. FML

Hey Guys. A lot of you have been asking why I mowed this neighbors lawn. Well, for one the person living there is an older person and while they probably could do it themselves, I don't think they should have to. My other reason for it, is that I mow the houses on the right, and left of it for pay. I find it more convenient to just mow all three of them across at once.

Yeah, I'd stop mowing his lawn after that.

I really hope you're not continuing the free service ._.

I had a neighbor who would mow my lawn and the lawn on the other side of his house so that the lawns on either side of his house would be cut to the same length and edged the same way. Think it was OCD rather than kindness. OP, sorry this guy shows no appreciation. I say thanks in his stead. You are helping someone who may not deserve it, but it's still kind of you.

To be fair, maybe the guy thought lawn maintenance was part of his rental agreement or there was some other confusion about why his lawn was getting mown.

If you treat him like a baby don't be surprised if he acts like a spoiled child.

oh I missed a spot? that's okay ill just stop mowing your lawn so I wont miss anymore spots..

next time ask for compensation...you shouldve asked from the beginning he probly assumed you didn't need it because you did it without it for so long

I'd find it a bit creepy if my neighbor mowed my lawn for 3 years without saying anything to me. But, yeah, OP. Your neighbor is an asstard.

You deserved it, for being a push over.
