Today, after breaking up with my girlfriend of two years over the phone, I recieved a knock on my door. It was my now ex-girlfriend who came to seek revenge by shooting me in the balls with a paintball gun at about a three foot range. FML

If you're going to correct someone's spelling, make sure yours is flawless. "Spelt" is a variety of wheat. I think the word you intended to use is "spelled".

And #39, if YOU are going to correct someone's spelling, make sure you've actually looked in a dictionary. That way, you would know that "spelt" is the chiefly British past and past participle for "spell".

Holy shit. I'm nearly crying from laughing at this. I'm sorry, dude. I'm a 15 year old girl, I should be defending your ex saying "OMG, you should've done it to her face! You're a dirtbag!" but even I'm not that childish. Like, why is it that huge of a deal if it's over the phone, face-to-face, or through text? The point is, IT WILL STILL BE OVER, it doesn't matter. She should look at it this way, you did it over the phone- that's more personal than a text message and a lot better than walking in on you with another woman. I prefer the phone (;

Press charges for assault. Normally I would say that 2 years is wayyy more than long enough to require a face-to-face break up. However, she sounds like a psychopath, so I guess good call on over the phone, bad call on your underestimation of her insanity. I did wonder if you perhaps cheated on her or got her pregnant or something though and perhaps the ball shot was something you deserved based on the reasons for the break up
