They're all yours

Today, I was having a garage sale and my mother-in-law came by to see what I was selling. She decided to buy these ugly green wine glasses that were still unopened. It turns out that she gave those to my wife and I when we got married. FML

Well, it is her daughters fault also, even though she will blame it all on you.

Someone clearly didn't like the gift.

# 38 you are a moron. Would you say "she gave them to I?" I would hope not because that is even worse grammar than saying "she gave them to my wife and I." Regardless of the whole bad grammar issue, I guess this fml is kind of funny..

LOL!! that's so funny!! wow she must have really liked them to buy them back. Watch she will wait a year & then give them to you guys again. lol. that would be awesome! go granny!

Okay, your wife just let you be in charge of what you were going to sell? Normally the items that will be put up for sale must go for inspection first. The husband usually has no clue what's just waiting to be used within the next week. However, if your mom-in-law is all whiny about the glasses, just have your wife say that "He wouldn't know style if it bit him in the ass." Smooth it over. Then use the glasses once or twice when she's there, and then BAM! eBay!
