Today, it's common knowledge that Lana Del Rey is a no-talent hack. Yet, she has more daily Spotify streams than Ed Sheeran, Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Bon Jovi, Radiohead, AC/DC, Robbie Williams, ABBA, Céline Dion, the Backstreet Boys, and the Beatles. Music is dead. FML

I don't even know who she is. But I do know that I don't care what ratings, views, followers, etc. say. I like what I like. I don't care if it's popular or trending. I listen to music for my enjoyment, not the enjoyment of others.

Why get yourself so worked up about this? Everyone knows that what's popular does not necessarily equate to what's good. And even then, taste is entirely subjective - Sometimes you want to listen to something even if it's not good. The only person making your life awful here is yourself.

Well, this is entirely subjective. I could just as well say Celine Dion is for old women and ridicule your admiration for her. Why have you worked yourself up over this, get over it.
