Today, my boss showed me how he wants his office redecorating. We have employees on minimum wage and yet he wants a private bathroom, large screen TV, sofa and PlayStation, and a decorative suit of armour, all in an office that’s already bigger than my one bedroom flat. FML

Today, my boss hired a feng shui consultant for our small office space. I am the only full-time employee besides the owners, and I work as an unpaid intern. My company would rather pay someone to rearrange my desk than pay me to work at it. FML

Today, my boss is being so cheap, he'd rather type in the dark, not fix our water heater or replace our cordless phone because he will not get his bonus if he goes over the budget. FML

Today, my boss finally worked out that by not giving the lads a pay rise to £18 an hour, instead just offering them overtime when necessary, it actually cost the equivalent of raising each employees salary to £26 an hour, for a whole year. He’s is blaming me because I issue the pay checks. FML

Today, my boss asked for recommendations on how to improve the office. I sent her an e-mail full of my ideas. Later, my boss sent me a reply, saying, "Here's what head office thinks of your ideas." It contained a list of insults upper management made about me. FML

Today, my boss told me that he didn’t want to promote me because my, “scores were too good.” He then told me that I would be getting twice as much work to do than my coworkers, without a raise. I work minimum wage. FML

Today, I sat down and worked out I get paid £26000 a year for working 40 hours a week. Meanwhile my boss gets paid £115000 to answer emails when he remembers to and to attend 5 hours of mandatory meetings a month, which he now does over video chat from his vacation cottage in Scotland. FML

Every big company got some workers on minimum wage. That means all higher management should not enjoy their status? It's not like they are going to get a raise if he gives up his office.

Higher management should still take care of its employees before decorating their office like their personal man-cave. Or if they insist on the man-cave, they can work from home.

I hope boss gets all that and some day his boss comes by to see where the budget went. Then I suspect the problem will be taken care of... Unless boss is the owner, everyone reports to someone - and at the very top they report to a board of directors... The most stupid and self defeating part of that list is the PlayStation as that has no business use at all. I hope boss gets that first and gets distracted until his boss comes in.

he needs a reality check and taught a lesson like Ebenezer Scrooge. walk in someone else's shoes for a while. unfortunately that will probably never happen.
