Surprise!

Today, I returned to work after taking two days off to find I'd been fired. Why? For not being at work on those two days. Everything was agreed in writing, all trace of which has mysteriously vanished. I can't work until HR sorts it out, and nobody can tell me how long that'll take. FML

Does your boss not phone you to see where you are when they're expecting you and you don't turn up? At my job they phone if you're half an hour late!

Someone has it out for you . I would get the thing straightened and out and then look for another job if so you can get out. Hope it works out for you

I've heard of situations like these. But at least you got HR involved. I do hope you get everything sorted soon. Sounds to me like something fishy is happening here!

Did no one call you during the days you took off when they thought you were supposed to be there? Doesn't a boss have to call if you don't make it in? Something doesn't seem right here
