If something like that happens, then just say f*ck off. There are so many things that are just better to be ignored. If the same thing happens next time, just go up there, get your award, and raise your right arm fisted, and raise your middle finger.

i always expect something like this to happen to me and guess what? i got the loudest cheer at my schools academics award ceremony! i guess learning to expect the worst helps a lot :)

this happened to me except that I was at the mall for a "mathnight at the mall" thing, it was the first thing I ever won 20 bucks

I was once at an award ceramony and the award was for the best workers, passed all classes, turned all work in, went higher than expected, and are great workers. 20 won out of 123 7th graders. all the over achivers were first and then when they called my name I about passed out. I got a D- in L.A. my L.A. teacher gave it to me. it struck me that the only reason I won was because I was going to costa rica with two of my teachers.
