Still holding a candle

Today, it's been two years since a club trip where I met someone who, for the first and last time in my life of crippling self hatred and depression, I actually believed might like me back. It's also been two years since I heard anything from him, despite him promising to keep in touch. FML

I have depression as well, I take Zoloft and have moved on. I've been happily married for 15 years. Get help and move forward. Pretend your rearview mirror doesn't exist.

A lot of these issues can be solved with self medicating with alcohol and getting out.

Maybe he lost your info. Maybe he has his own problems that keep him from contacting you. Have you ever tried contacting him yourself?
