Today, my neighbor's son siphoned the fuel out of my lawn mower and put it in his car. What he didn't realize is that the fuel mixture I use in my lawn mower would ruin his car engine. His dad says it's my fault and actually insists I should pay his pissant son's repair bill. FML

A. Take them to court for taking your oil B. Get more money out of them for harassment as he is harassing you saying it's his fault C. Get them for trespassing You're in the money

Can you take legal action against him for siphoning your oil?

The judge will be on your side since the son has to trespass in your property.

Just another example of a parent not holding their little POS accountable for their actions.

Ask your neighbor for the request in writing, make up BS about how your insurance needs it for the claim. Have him notarize it. Small claims court for theft.... Slam dunk.

That's probably the best advice ever.

Sounds like trespassing to steal your gas to me, I'd tell him he can either fu*k off, or you'll call the police and have his brat arrested...

Have the muppet charged for trespassing and theft. Sounds like karma got him good.

Lol tell em both to **** off. Your not responsible for his actions......morons

I'm pretty sure you can go to court on them for trespassing and possibly more? Don't pay the bill, OP. It's not your fault and you can fight this more than likely.

call тнe polιce yoυ нave prooғ!!

What proof? Unless the father and son confess to the police or in court, there is no proof.

Ha I would have told him to bugger off and if he pushed the issue then threaten legal action. You have no obligation to pay for your neighbors sons idiocy But good luck OP

That much fuel mixture for a lawn mower shouldn't ruin his car engine

It would smoke like all hell, but you are right, it probably wouldn't hurt it at all.
