Riding high

By Anonymous - This FML is from back in 2012 but it's good stuff

Today, I went to a theme park. The first ride I went on broke down just as my cart reached the highest point. I had a nice view of my loving family laughing at me while management failed to fix the rollercoaster. FML

I dunno about you but if management was fixing the thing I'd be scared shitless. Most of the time it's engineers and mechanics that fix things.

Just because they were laughing doesn't mean they're unloving. My family is so caring, but we'd all laugh if one of us got stuck on a ride. It relieves tension. I'm sure you'll learn to laugh about this incident in the future.

I work at a theme park. Depending on the kind of coaster you were on, it could've been a lot of different things. The operators are trained on how to get you off the ride while maintenance is called to get it going again. Sometimes maintenance has to come from the other side of the park. Don't panic. First aid will have to come get you too. Haha

I work at carnivals and its kind of the same here, though the responce time varies based on the size. I kind of would want to know if the ride was well inspected (ya I know even if it was things still happen). If it wasn't I would be kind of pissed.

Exactly.. Maintenance and the inspector for the day should've done a ride thru inspection and made sure everything was okay. But either way sometimes it doesn't matter. Roller coasters are picky things.

I love coasters but I have to say I would be scared shitless O_O all I can say is count your blessings you weren't stuck upside down.
