That's because you live in one of them socialist countries where the gubbermint has a vested interest in your health. The US is a free country where we have the liberty to get early-onset diabetes and heart disease. Those are good for business. If schools had to call the parents of all of the fatties, they'd need to hire more full-time staff!

It isn't mentioned if it's over- or underweight, also Sweden isn't a socialist country :)

I think it sucks more that your parents needed the school to call them before they realized you had a problem with your weight. Otherwise, you should be happy they care and want healthy students. Bad habits as a kid turn out into worst habits as an adult. Good luck!
