Red flags

Today, I decided i wouldn't take the bus back home from uni, instead I walked to the metro. On my way there, I saw a couple of odd-looking guys, but I thought, "Nah, just because they wear big hoodies and caps doesn't mean they're doing anything", so I ignored them. Two minutes later they mugged me in broad daylight. FML

See I do the opposite. I avoid everyone just because they could be anyone lol I feel bad sometimes because I don’t want guys that have that stereotypical “look” to think I’m stereotyping them. But **** it in those situations my safety is more important than your feelings lol Sorry you got mugged though OP. On the one hand, be more careful and wary in general, and on the other, don’t let this experience sour your view on guys in hoodies or any particular type of person in general. Hope you didn’t lose anything of too much value and can get it replaced!
