Today, the guy I've fallen for and have been dating on and off for 2 years told me that he kept contacting me to re-connect because he missed hanging out with me, but didn't actually have any feelings for me. I already paid for a non-refundable weekend away as his Christmas present for us both. FML

Today, after being so jaded by failed relationships, I'd given a guy who slid into my Facebook Messenger a chance. We'd entered the talking stage, only to be told four months later that he’s found a girlfriend, and no longer wants to continue this interaction and blocked me. FML

Today, I texted the guy I went out with last night. He'd told me he’d text me when he got home, but he never did. Cracking a joke, I asked him if he was homeless or something, since he broke his word. He replied, “No, I’m just not that into you. Have a nice life.” FML

Today, I wrote to the guy whom I am in love with to tell him how I feel about him. He was very calm and told me to give him some time to think it over. Later in the day, I found out he blocked my number and rejected me on Facebook. But, the worst part is he then texted me saying, "This is my reply". FML

Just because you like someone doesn’t mean they will like you back. Life is full of instances of that. Not everyone is compatible… If you feel they are lying to you, then you might as well forget it and move on. You cannot build a relationship on lies nor can you build a relationship with someone who’s just not that interested in you… On the other hand there is no such thing as “the one love of my life”. There are multiple potential people out there who may be a compatible match for you and you for them. But you won’t find them if you are hung up on one person who’s not really interested in you.

I find this story fascinating and compelling! I'll bet he finds you so intimidating and gorgeous that he is ashamed of his squalid life and lies to impress you. You should pursue him harder and ignore restraining orders because that's a good idea. Blatant lying is kinda fun...
