Preemptive strike time

Today, my husband compared leaving me for another woman to finding another job with a better pay, saying, "Sometimes, better is out there, and I deserve better." He seriously thinks it’s a good enough reason. We’ve been married for 11 years. FML

Divorce. He just admitted he's settling for you until something better comes along. You deserve better. End it

Sucks but hubby isn't wrong, if you don't value your partner's qualities it only makes sense to find a partner who's qualities you do and you don't really get to choose who you like or how you feel about people. That said a key part of a relationship is to be your partners best friend and it really feels like hubby isn't interested in playing that role anymore. It wouldn't do any good for him to try to pretend.

Your husband is an idiot and you deserve much better as well. If you have proof of his infidelity (I guess he was if you are still married and he is already going with someone else?), you can get the jackpot during the divorce. You'll be better without him. Good luck

DAMN.. first time I've heard that one. he's got it backwards though because you're the one that deserves better. funny thing is that when he realizes that he messed up, it'll be too late. good luck

Hear me out, it’s possible he does deserve better.
