Today, I was in an audition for a production at this theater in town. The directors at the table loved my audition. One of them said, "I'd love to talk to you about coming to TCU." I said, "Oh, yeah! I know Harry Parker at TCU who runs the theater department." I said this to Harry Parker. FML

Today, I auditioned for a part in a play. I've been practicing for months, and was very excited. After I'd finished singing, the director whispered something to the other judges, and they all laughed. Hard. So much for the lead role. FML

Today, I was trying out for a play I really wanted to be in. After my audition, I was feeling really good. She said she would post the cast list tomorrow. Not knowing where she would post it, I asked her. Her reply? "It doesn't matter. You won't be on it anyway." FML

Today, I had a job interview. The only moment I impressed the interviewer was when I talked about drama. He started to talk about a play I hadn't seen, but I decided to agree on everything he was saying. Suddenly he said, "the play doesn't actually exist." I silently left the room. FML

Today, at my school, we had the opening night of our production in which I act. None of my family or friends came. Basically, after 3 long months of hard work, the only person to "congratulate" to me after the show was the head of the theater department, who just wanted to tell me I was doing it wrong. FML

Today, through sheer luck, I got talking to an actor from the Harry Potter films who I've had a crush on since I was about ten. I tried to play it cool, and pretend I didn't know who he was. Then my phone rang, with the Harry Potter theme tune. FML

Today, my guidance counselor told me that I did a really good job playing someone who was really airheaded in my school's play. I wasn't trying to act like an airhead, the director told me that I got cast for the part because the character I was playing was "just like me". FML

Today, my school's theater production was canceled. Not because of budget, but because my co-star fell in love with me and asked me out. When I pointedly declined, he refused to act alongside me since it was "awkward." Everyone's blaming me for it. FML

Ooh, embarrassing xP. During my National Honor Society interview last year, I was asked what English class I would be taking this year, so I said it, and the interviewer asked if it was because I was interested in psychology. I said sort of, but mostly because my guidance counselor said the teacher is REALLY nice. Turns out, my interviewer was the teacher xP. So I think we all have moments like that at some point lol. hahaha #13, I would probably do that xD

yeah, misread that as "harry potter" first too. that would have been a much better fml ;) but if the guy liked your audition and recommended you come to TCU then you should have just agreed with him. no need to go throwing important names around, because that just makes you look like an ass, even if you really did know the guy.

I don't see how he could play it off like there are two Harry Parkers if he said "the one who runs the theater department." I don't think the director at auditions would be someone not from the theater department.
