Left out in the cold

Today, I checked Facebook, only to find out that my close cousin is now married. When I looked at the pictures, I saw that my whole family was there - including my sister, mother and father. I was the only one who wasn't invited. FML

That sucks. But what sucks even more is that your parents and sister kept this from you and went anyway, even knowing that she didn't invite you. Then again, maybe the two of you aren't as close as you think you are, especially if she didn't invite you to the wedding? Just something to consider...

On the bright side, you don't have to buy a wedding gift for them.

Sorry about that. At least you dont have to come out your pocket for someone so inconsiderate. Just smile and keep going. The best revenge against somone who has done you wrong is to move on

Think positive. Probably they tried to call you and you didn't answer, and/or you were busy that day. :

That's extremely rude. Usually, when a family is invited to something like that, every member is included. Oh well, maybe you were bettercoff not going anyway since it appears that your entire family hates you. FYL indeed.

Don't feel too bad, that happened to me. Except i was away to college and wouldn't have had time to go anyway.

I guess ur not ad close as u thought u were.

This sounds very one-sided to me. No family does this unless the one left behind is a major pain in the ass to be around, or doesn't know how to behave and acts out, especially in places like a church, or at special occasions like a wedding. Odd that you didn't even notice they weren't at home the whole day of the wedding - what were you doing, playing Warcraft? If your family did this, I'm pretty sure you gave them a reason a long time ago. And now you want your very own pity party...
