I mean is the cat's bowl in the kitchen, because that's a weird spot to keep a phone overnight or is it in your bedroom, because that is a weird keep to a water bowl. There are too many unanswered questions.

How long have you owned a cat for? They'll knock everything off a high surface. My parents still haven't replaced the TV their cat knocked off their unit. Luckily it didn't crack the screen, but I did have to take ownership of the cat. And nothing I own has been broken. Yet.
