It's all too much

Today, I discovered that in addition to being an autistic HSP, I also suffer from misophonia, hyperacusis, and tinnitus. My audiologist has described me as having, "the worst case of abnormally sensitive hearing she has ever seen in her life." I rarely leave my house anymore. I wish I was deaf. FML

Have you tried noise cancelling headphones?

Hey, at least you made your audiologist's day! That's something.

This would be great for everything listed except tinnitus. You hear random ringing in your ears that isn't caused by an external sound when you have that.

Yep, this. Thankfully I’ve had mine since I was a little kid so I can ignore it rather than being driven crazy by this constant high-pitched noise ringing in the background of everything. It randomly does get louder and more intense or...slightly less loud. When I notice it, I force myself to ignore it or else I’d probably want to jump out of my ******* body. Sometimes I lie awake at night and wonder what actual, true absolute silence is like. Must be nice.

can do they something with a hearing aid? turn all the way down maybe?

Okay, so, noise canceling headphones that generate a low level white noise may help you.
