Everybody here seems to be blaming the guy for being in denial about girl poop. Not knowing the full story here makes this a guess but I can see where the guy may be coming from. Think about it: on one of the first dates nobody wants to know about the other persons smelly poop. That stuff comes later, when you know each other. I am sure there are plenty of girls who would dump a guy for this as well. The thing that strikes me as odd is not the guy dumping her but the fact that he told her why...

Because OP refers to the person as her BOYFRIEND, I doubt that they were only on their first date. One does not usually earn the title boyfriend or girlfriend until a series of dates. And its not like she literally squatted down and did it right in front of him. She was in the bathroom. The room with the toilet, whose very purpose is to answer nature's calls!
