Today, maintenance was supposed to come in to replace my broken washer. I worked late last night until 4 AM, and then dozed off. I slept so soundly that they managed to enter the apartment, haul away the broken washer, and install the new one, all while I was fast asleep in the next room. FML

Same thing different taste

Today, the maintenance workers finally came to my apartment to fix the shower-head that kept falling off the wall. I was annoyed because they had replaced it a few weeks ago and since then, it'd been a problem. They went into my bathroom, turned the shower head around, and left. FML

Today I remembered to put my work uniform in the wash; as I hit start I got an email notification. My landlord confirmed that the engineer will be out to fix the washing machine tomorrow after my housemate reported it as broken. My clothes are locked in the machine that now won't turn on. FML

Today, I was rearranging the cabinets above the washer and dryer, and the whole thing fell down on top of the washer. I had just put my clothes in the washing machine too. FML

Today, I did laundry in my apartment complex's laundry room. I put my stuff in the dryer and returned to my room. The sign on the door says the laundry room closes at 10 pm, but that's rarely true. Tonight it was. I have to wait until 8 am. I work at 7:30. My work clothes are in there. FML

Today, my washing machine broke down, within its warranty. I asked my neighbour if she could open the door for the mechanic while I was at work; she agreed. When I came home, I had a bill for 80 bucks for not opening the door. Her reason? She was busy watching her favorite TV show. FML

Today, I left the apartment door open so the construction workers sent by our landlord could work in the kitchen, while I slept in after working a late shift. They knocked on the bedroom door at 7 a.m., asking me to move the bed. FML

OK. people, the FML is that he sleeps so soundly that people can come into his apartment, presumably make a lot of noise and not wake him up. In the case of getting a washer installed, it's no problem, but when the next intruders come to rob him, his heavy sleeping pattern will be a big disadvantage.

I'm guessing the FML is that they didn't install a new dryer while they were at it? Or are you the kid that complained about the Tooth Fairy?

I’m sorry. I don’t understand how this sucks. You were exhausted and the maintenance crew installed your washer for you while allowing you to sleep. Please explain?

Yes, I agree the situation sucked, to sleep through it like that, at the same time as I think you deserved the new washer. So, I'm a bit conflicted what button to press...
