Handle with care

Today, I fell asleep with my new iPad on my chest, so when I woke up and pushed my duvet off me, the iPad went flying off me and broke on the floor. It’s my first ever iPad, my mom bought it for me for high school and I’ve only had it a week. FML

And it's the last ever iPad you'll ever own that you don't purchase yourself. Maybe when you pay for it yourself, you'll invest in getting a cover for it that protects it.

Sorry for ya OP but as a parent that has owned many different brands of tablets ,the iPad is junk they break so goddamn easily it's not even funny how easily they break!!! you're much better off going with one of the more durable brands of tablets and they also usually have far more options, like expandable memory or upgradable parts and also many of them already have built-in protection or even come with very durable cases and screen protectors do a little research you can pick up a really awesome tablet for dirt cheap.

I hope she got a warranty. And next time, get a cover. Otter makes really good ones for phones; maybe they make good ones for tablets. As a first rate klutz, I have learned this lesson and want others to learn it the easy way.

I used to sleep with a glass by my bed. I woke up one day to a fried laptop. It was an expensive but very impactful lesson. You won't sleep with it again!
