Today, my step-dad explained to me why he doesn't need to wash his body. He condescendingly said, "Well when you shampoo your hair, the soap runs down your body and cleans everything." He's 37 years-old. FML

it's anybody else confused about the step dad being 37?? how old does that make OP? Maybe the mother likes younger men? O.o

If OP was (for example) 16, then that would put the step-dad at 21 years older than OP. Even if OP was 19, that'd put the step-dad at 18 years older. Hell, OP could even be 21, putting the step-dad at 16 years older. Considering it's a step-dad, the mom could still be 20 years older than OP (making her 41) and that'd only be a 4 year difference between the mom and the step-dad, which is a perfectly reasonable age difference. tl;dr 37 is a totally possible age for a step-dad of an FML user
