At least she's not moving in with you. That's the worst. My husband and I had to live with his mother (and stepfather) for 2 years after the economic downturn... HOLY HELL did that suck! We had to have completely silent sex, I had to wash all the dishes because if I didn't there'd be food stuck on them, she'd get to talking for hours around bedtime so we couldn't go to sleep, etc etc etc. Set some ground rules so she doesn't come over all the time. Have your WIFE set them, actually, since it's her mom!
