Today, as a police officer, I was sent to deal with an indecent exposure. It was two homeless people who'd both passed out on drugs in the middle of sex. I had to wake them up, then help prise them apart, as his penis was still very visibly inside her exposed for the whole street to see. FML

LMAOOO Welcome to America!!! Honestly, I'm against defunding police but for properly reforming them without budget cuts. Instead, doctors and mental health experts should respond to these situations than the police. Sorry you job allowed you to witness something so raw!!

Yeah I kinda feel like they need to diversify their police forces. Add mental health professionals and social service workers *as part of the force*. Redirect their resources into less lethal means of serving and protecting the public. Like, why are you buying tanks and shit instead of just buying some damn mental health and deescalation professionals??

Why did you have to do everything by yourself? Medical professionals should have handled that situation, e.g., paramedics, while you could have been on standby at the scene. Those two could have overdosed and bodily fluids were present.

in a better world, you'd've just been accompanying a health professional who could do that. they're trained to remain composed while handling naked people, and could help if the homeless people had become unconscious due to overdose or health issues. if the homeless people were infected with STDs, they could've easily passed it onto you if you weren't knowledgeable about such issues.
