Today, my grandparents visited. My grandpa kept getting off the couch and walking around to "stretch his legs." He kept kicking out my computer's network cable and messing up my game, smirking each time he did it. When I complained, my mom told me to shut up and show some respect. FML

The "old bag" was OP's mom, not grandpa.

Go kick it with him, you'll regret the times you neglected once he's gone.

Respect should be earned. If this is the kind of passive-aggressive shit his grandfather pulls all the time, I can understand OP's reluctance to spend time with him. On the other hand, tattling to mommy instead of handling the situation himself just shows that he is just like his grandfather.

You should probably listen to your mom and stop being rude. It's very rude to ignore people that are visiting for your computer games. Relatives or not, rude is rude. Grandpa could have handled it better himself, but he's probably got the same mentality my Grandmother had. "I'm old and I can do what I want!" :/

Maybe his grandfather should show some respect. Just being a grandfather doesn't give him the right to be an asshole. I hate when people say you have to respect people who just abuse their authority.
