Foldin' money

Today, I went to the bank to get a jar of coins exchanged for cash via a fancy counter machine. After 30 minutes I was handed a bag of rolling sleeves and was told to do it myself. Good news, I have a lot more money than I thought. Bad news, I have A LOT more coins than I thought. FML

Take them to a grocery store, dump the whole jar in the coin sorter, take the reciept to customer service, and they'll give you back the cash amount and it only takes about 5 minutes.

For most banks, there's a charge for it, it has to be over a minimum amount, and it might be for businesses only.

That’s crazy!! The Coinstar at grocery stores can handle any amount. The cashback option is a rip-off. You can get the full amount as Amazon or iTunes Store credit.
