Today, I overheard my mother-in-law say to her daughter "I can't wait for you to make me a real grandma." I'm pregnant with their first grandchild. FML

That really sucks. Your MIL is rude AF as her son is having a child with and through you. It's probably because she has a huge attachment to her biological daughter. Horrible. She should never have said anything to anyone, kept her opinions to herself and kept her trap shut.

If she's going to be that disrespectful to your child, maybe don't let her anywhere near them?

As the grandchild of a grand mother like that...let the kid learn on their own. Everyone said my reaction to my grandmother was because of my parents. Yeah it wasnt it was because of the stuff that woman said to me. As long as your husband knows and you watch how she treats sils kid compared to yours and yours know you love them you should be good.
