Today, my dad told me that my mom wanted to name me something "unusual." He eventually got her to compromise. I go by Violet. I now know that my legal name is Purple. FML

I'm really sorry your mom named you like that. George doesn't sound so bad, at least it's a real name. Where I live yo can only give names that will have a gender associated with. It means you can't legally name a child Alex, you have to go with either Alexandra or Alexander accordingly. I know it sound really restrictive, but at least it saves kids from being named after colors, fruit and weather conditions.

hit up the social security website. i promise, theres a lot worse than "purple" out there. if anything, you can rest assured that purple is the color of royalty. rock that shit like a princess!
