Today, at work, I was told at the beginning of my shift that we would be enforcing a 4-item limit on hand sanitizer, toilet paper, etc. Not even 20 minutes later, I had 2 customers bitch me out. This is going to be a long shift, if not year. FML

Many of the stores I’ve been to place limit signs by the items. It’s likely these ppl already knew but felt entitled anyway and tried to bully their way into extra items.

Bring your manager over to deal with them. They're the one who made the rule, let the customer go right to the source.

You are seeing humanity at its worst right now. There are awful, greedy people out there. One one hand I feel sorry for your situation, on the other hand it is a good experience. Remember it always, and never treat people that way

They should post a sign that says “If you bitch & moan about the limit on toilet paper, you will IMMEDIATELY be redirected to the other paper products aisle where you’ll find a substitution.” Then make sure it’s the copy paper/notebook paper aisle!
