Two possibilities come to mind. 1. She wants credit for wanting sex with you, while not actually wanting sex with you. Or 2. Something about you being convalescent is making her feel safe enough or turned on enough to want sex. In case 1, instead of propositioning her for sex, ask for permission simply to get her turned on. No requirement for sex. Let it lead to sex, if it does. In case 2, explore how to later achieve today's result. Maybe she would like it if you were tied up? Keep an open mind.
