That's when they'll check your eyes. It'll probably be 2-3 months more to get glasses made. Try contacts. Make sure you're good and drunk when you try to put them in.

Ouch, this is why, if you can afford it (which I know some people can't) get a second pair when you buy your glasses.

go check out clearly.ca! If you know your prescription you can order cheap new glasses on there (I'm not sure how fast their shipping is) tho I dont think they make glasses for people with astigmatism but I've heard good things from others who were able to order! I'm sure your regular eye dr should be able to print out your prescription for you.

I'm practically blind without my glasses, so I always keep 4 or 5 cheap spares incase my nicer ones break. If you have your prescription, I would recommend ordering them online as several places offer really good deals.
