Today, I fell down the stairs and landed heavily on my foot. Because I wasn't crying, my mom refused to take me to the hospital. It took me an hour of agony to convince her. It turned out to be broken in three different places. FML

Today, I slipped and fell down the stairs, landing hard on my knee. Through my screams of agony, my mom accused me of exaggerating the pain, and said I was just being an attention seeker, before finally taking me to hospital. I was told my leg was broken. She refused to apologize. FML

Today, I slipped walking down the stairs. My mom thought I sprained my right ankle. In her haste to get me to the doctor, she grabbed me and accidentally tripped me. I broke my left ankle. The right one was fine. FML

Today, I fell down the stairs, breaking my foot and tendons. It was the first time I had ever broken anything, and the doctor said that it's the most complicated break he'd ever seen. It's too complicated to operate. Now I'm stuck in a wheelchair for god knows how long. FML

Today, I fell down a flight of stairs at college. I was taken to hospital with a fractured ankle and had to call my parents to drive me home. They constantly made passive-aggressive remarks on the way home, because I'd "totally ruined" their plans to eat out at a fancy restaurant tonight. FML

Today, I fell down the stairs while holding some dirty glasses from my room. I ended up pulling pieces of glass from my body. Meanwhile all my mom cares about is the fact that I broke three of her favorite glasses. FML

Today, after slipping on my stairs and spraining my ankle, I got a brace and crutches at urgent care. When I went to get into my car, my crutch slipped on some paper and I fell. I crawled back into urgent care, only to learn that my sprained ankle is now broken in 2 places. FML

I know how you feel. Last year I broke my ankle and tore the ligaments but since I wasn't crying and there was no swelling and only a little bruise, I had to walk it off for two entire days before my dad would take me to the doctor. Definitely not fun.

This one time. I fell at the skate park. And literally chipped a piece of bone off. My mom didnt take me for 5 days. And was still reluctant. I had to get a surgery.

My dad was in a similar situation, only with his elbow and mom took him right away. The doctors needed an x-ray to believe that he'd broken his elbow! Not even a tear on the guy!

I feel your pain! About a year and a half ago I fell and caught myself by sticking my arm out and I broke my wrist. I didn't cry and my parents wouldn't take me to the doctor because they said "it looked fine." Now my wrist makes a weird noise when I move it and I can't use it for extended periods of time.
